Managed Detection and Response (MDR) for MSPs
You protect clients, cut through alert fatigue, and keep up with a constantly changing threat landscape on limited time and resources. Huntress is a managed security partner for MSPs. Our 24/7 human-led, AI-centric SOC delivers managed detection and response across endpoint, identity, SIEM, and security awareness training, so you can offer enterprise-grade security under your own brand without building a SOC or adding headcount. And there are no third-party tools to buy. Huntress brings its own agent, platform, and SOC, so you don’t need to license or manage a separate EDR to get started.
According to an MSPCFO study that included 21 months of data across 408K PSA tickets, on average, MSPs see a 40% reduction in security labor per managed device after switching to Huntress.

Say goodbye to alert fatigue. Our SOC filters out the noise, stops threats on your behalf, and only sends actionable incident reports, providing clear, actionable next steps.
Minutes matter. Through host and identity isolation and proactive posture management, our team helps you contain threats and take action before your clients even know there’s a problem.
True security talent is hard to come by, and even harder to retain. We staff the best so you can focus on the rest. Get 24/7 coverage from human experts who think like attackers and act like your in-house security team.
Our SOC separates the signal from the noise across the Huntress platform, so your team gets validated incident reports instead of a pile of false positives. Managed EDR runs at below a 1% false-positive rate. Endpoint, identity, SIEM, posture management, and security awareness training, all managed by Huntress and delivered under your trusted brand.
Who’s watching and taking action at 2am on a Saturday? Huntress is. You don’t need an in-house SOC to provide first-class security outcomes. We back you with real experts who take action and provide clear guidance at every step.
The Huntress agentic platform helps MSPs scale security services without adding headcount. Predictable pricing, a competitor buy-out program, compliance-ready reporting, and fast onboarding lead to a quick ROI.

Some security partners monitor endpoint tools you license and manage yourself. Huntress works differently. We provide the agent, the platform, and the 24/7 SOC together, so there’s no separate EDR license to buy, deploy, or tune. If you already run other security products, Huntress plays well alongside them, but you don’t need them.
Most MSPs run on Microsoft. Huntress is built to work with it, not around it. We integrate across M365 and the Microsoft Security stack to help you get more ROI and a lower total cost of ownership from the tools you already own.
Whatever you’ve licensed today, the Huntress SOC has your back. Managed Defender AV in Managed EDR operationalizes Microsoft’s built-in AV, and policy controls in Managed ISPM put your Microsoft 365 policies to work in your environment. For those with ME5 or Defender Suite, our SOC pulls incidents from across Defender XDR into its investigations.
Have mixed Microsoft licensing across your tenants or Google Workspace? No problem. Huntress meets you where you are with the agent, the platform, and the 24/7 SOC together.
Huntress makes managing security more profitable for MSPs. The MSPCFO study also found Huntress partners experience 50% fewer security tickets that take more than 3x the typical resolution time. Your techs stay focused on profitable project work, not chasing false positives.
Human analysts review every escalated alert around the clock and take necessary action, so you can rest easy.
Protect Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoints, plus Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace identities, so you can cover more of what your clients actually run.
Huntress analysts hunt for persistence and hands-on-keyboard activity that automated tools miss, and stop attacks before they spread across a client's environment.
EDR, ITDR, SIEM, and SAT, identity (ISPM), and endpoint (ESPM) posture management, all managed by Huntress.
With Sensitive Data Mode enabled, our platform helps meet 55 out of 110 CMMC requirements without risk of CUI exposure, making us ITAR-compliant as well. Our documentation is available in the Trust Center to prove our work.

No. Huntress Managed EDR includes the Huntress agent, the platform, and 24/7 SOC monitoring and response in per-unit pricing, so there’s no third-party EDR or antivirus license to buy. On Windows, Huntress manages the Microsoft Defender Antivirus that’s already built into the operating system, so you don’t need a separate antivirus product.
Huntress Managed EDR supports Windows and macOS endpoints, with Linux support. Supported versions and requirements change, so check the current list in Huntress’s support documentation. Supported Operating Systems, System Requirements & Compatibility. Managed Microsoft Defender applies to Windows endpoints.
Huntress uses per-unit pricing:
Huntress offers partner pricing to MSPs and resellers through our partner program. Confirm current partner pricing and package inclusions before purchasing.
Eligible MSPs can request free NFR, or not-for-resale, licenses through the Neighborhood Watch program. NFR licenses are for internal use and cannot be used for client deployments or resale.
The Huntress 24/7 agentic SOC investigates suspicious activity and sends an incident report after validating malicious activity. Managed EDR has a false-positive rate below 1%, but no detection process guarantees that every report is error-free.
Incident reports provide context about the detected activity and recommended next steps. Depending on the product and incident, they may include manual, assisted, or active remediation actions.
Supported PSA integrations can forward incident reports and escalations to your PSA. Partners can also request SOC support through available email, chat, or callback channels.
An MSP can deploy the first Huntress agent in a few minutes using a local installer, a script, or their RMM. Full-environment rollout time varies based on endpoint availability, environment complexity, existing security tools, integrations, and validation requirements.
Huntress supports deployment through an RMM platform, deployment scripts, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune. MSPs can manage deployments across separate customer organizations from the Huntress partner portal.
Huntress supports integrations across PSA, RMM, deployment, SIEM, API, and webhook workflows.
PSA integrations include ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Syncro PSA, Kaseya BMS, and HaloPSA. RMM and deployment integrations include ConnectWise Automate, Datto RMM, Kaseya VSA, N-able, SyncroMSP, and NinjaOne. Supported functions vary by integration and may include deployment, incident forwarding, ticketing, or billing workflows.
Managed SIEM supports log collection through agents, APIs, syslog, HEC, and native connectors. Huntress also provides REST API access and webhooks for supported custom workflows.
Yes. Huntress Managed EDR can coexist with existing antivirus and EDR products, including Microsoft Defender and SentinelOne.
Huntress Managed EDR includes Managed Microsoft Defender, which helps manage Microsoft Defender when it is the active antivirus engine (optional, but recommended). Huntress EDR does not include an antivirus engine, which is largely why we can run alongside any other AV or EDR.
Yes. MSPs use the Huntress partner portal to manage multiple customer organizations. The portal provides organization-level separation, cross-organization visibility, and organization-level reporting for supported products.
Huntress also supports defined user roles.
Responsibility depends on the product, configuration, permissions, and remediation mode.
Huntress distinguishes among:
Partner-owned tasks may remain after investigation, including client communication, policy decisions, and actions requiring customer approval or access. ITDR containment and identity-remediation behavior may differ from EDR workflows.
Yes. Huntress Managed SIEM combines supported log collection with SOC monitoring, triage, investigation, response guidance, and compliance-oriented support.
MSPs still need to configure supported log sources, agents, collectors, permissions, and logging settings. Managed SIEM is priced per data source, with storage pooled across the deployment. Current documentation describes 10 GB per source per month of pooled storage.
Standard retention is documented as 30 days of searchable storage and one year of total retention. Extended retention provides 90 days of searchable storage and up to seven years of cold storage, subject to current availability and pricing.
Managed SIEM can support compliance-related monitoring and reporting, but it does not independently make a customer compliant. Results depend on the applicable requirements, supported sources, configuration, and retention settings.
