415 Group

After seeing security incidents slip past their existing tools, 415 Group standardized on Huntress to detect and stop threats in seconds instead of hours.

415 Group manages IT for all kinds of businesses, and partner David Besse holds the firm to the same high security standard for every client. But keeping that promise has gotten harder.

Besse's team had initially standardized on a well-known vendor's security platform, but incidents kept slipping through. So while they were testing Huntress, they started installing it in the client environments they were already suspicious about. Huntress found malicious activity in several of them almost immediately, and that was enough for 415 Group to deploy it across their entire client base.

The difference was especially clear when dealing with token theft. Though 415 Group's previous SIEM could detect malicious activity, it sometimes took up to an hour to do so. In that time, compromised accounts were already sending fake emails. Huntress, however, could detect and shut down the same activity within seconds.

Today, 415 Group trusts that when a Huntress report arrives, the immediate threat has already been handled. That confidence has improved their operations and helped Besse and his team sleep better knowing clients are protected around the clock.

[Huntress] was amazing because it really started uncovering a lot of the issues and a lot of the attacks that we were starting to see. It was a huge game changer.
