Jevon didn't find cybersecurity through a textbook. He found it through a family computer that rarely survived his childhood curiosity, a career in law enforcement, and a front-row seat to what cybercrime actually does to real people. Before joining Huntress, he worked as a police officer, a prosecutor, a GRC consultant, and a government investigator. Now he's in the SOC, where incident response is the job. He holds certifications from TCM Academy and 13Cubed and his go-to cybersecurity advice is refreshingly no-nonsense: fix your basics before chasing the latest shiny tool.
