With a background in offensive security, Truman began his career in 2017, diving headfirst into penetration testing after earning his OSCP certification. His expertise in phishing, vishing, and physical penetration testing now fuels his specialization in Security Awareness Training, where he empowers organizations by educating and testing their teams to stay one step ahead of attackers.
Truman’s achievements include presenting two open-source security tools at DEFCON and other major conferences, showcasing his innovative approach to cybersecurity. Before joining Huntress, he honed his skills at Tevora as a penetration tester and at Praetorian as a software engineer focused on attack surface management.
