Huntress is committed to creating a work environment that attracts the best and brightest minds in the industry.
We provide team members with the tools and resources they need to continue growing and advancing their careers, and we’re truly passionate about the work we do every single day—whether we’re chasing down hackers, working with our partners, launching new services or building educational content.
In the world of cybersecurity, things move quickly—and our team is actively growing to ensure we can meet the needs of our partners and their customers. We’re fast, precise, and we roll up our sleeves and get excited to solve complex problems. We work just as hard to build technology as we do to break out of escape rooms.
We're proud to support our team members with solid benefit plans, stock options, training and education, and more. We invest in people, not ping pong tables.
Being fully remote allows us to hire top talent anywhere in the world. Our growing team is strategically placed throughout North America, the UK and Australia—and we're excited to continue expanding.
We might build technology, but Huntress is powered by our people.

What drew you to work for Huntress?
Back when I was at college, I had met a friend, Micah, who was working here at Huntress as a Threat analyst. She stated the type of job that I could do here at Huntress - she could see me thriving in. I didn’t have any other job experience and Huntress was still a start up but I did love how specialized the job was in which drew me to apply here.
What does a day in the life look like for you in your current role?
I wake up in the morning and jump out of bed, right into the office - turn on my work laptop and get signed in. Some days my team has meetings throughout the work day. Since I am in Threatops, as a Threat Operations Analyst, the focus is mainly on the dashboard -- hunting for malware, investigating suspicious files, and reporting to our customers steps they need to take to eradicate the malware off their hosts. A few days a week for about an hour , I use time for professional development. I also take 5 minute breaks once an hour to walk around my home, stretch and get more water or tea.
What is your favorite part about working at Huntress?
This is the hardest question to answer because there are many different parts I love about working at Huntress. For starters, I really enjoy the people - even though we are remote, we can connect together and create friendships. I love the flexibility of working from home. Huntress has always been a remote company. The last part about working at Huntress that I love is that if you need any help at all - there are people here always here to help you without making you feel bad.
How would you describe the company culture?
When I think about our company culture, I think about these 5 words: motivating, nurturing, flexible, innovative and engaging. Why these 5 words? Everyone in the company is highly invested and inspired to do their best work for the company. Innovative because as a company we continue to grow and thrive in the cybersecurity industry — we support everyone providing ideas and creating options as a software program or within the company. When a company futures employees, they do so by helping them grow within the organization and help them hit their professional developmental goals. Last but not least, motivating — everyone from the top to the bottom is very motivating and this helps everyone feel energized and motivated to achieve success.
What is the most unique part about working here?
This might not be the most unique part about working at Huntress but it is my favorite part. If you have something to say you are able to say it to people who are willing to listen to understand - whether that might be you wanting to explore another area in your job that you don’t have experience in - if they can make it happen they will. Maybe you want to share a story to the company to help them understand about you and your life. They will make time to get to know you and help you in whatever manner that may be.
Anything else you want candidates to know about Huntress?
The company of Huntress as a whole is a team. While we are all in our own departments, we all work well together like a team should. Everyone is there to help each other or at least they can help point you in the right direction. Work-life balance is important here. We all have our own lives and sometimes it affects work, but the idea of flexibility is the name of the game.”

What drew you to work for Huntress?
One of my goals coming out of college was to work for a company where I would be able to see my impact. I feel like Huntress is the perfect example of that. Everyday when I get to work I can see the impact I am having on our partners by providing them with the best possible support I can. It's cool to see partners in the community talking about how good the support team is. Things like that really help me love the work that I do because it gives me a sense of self-worth. I feel like I'm really helping grow something instead of just being a cog in the wheel.
What does a day in the life look like for you in your current role?
Right now I start my day around 8am and the first thing I do is check my calendar to see what meetings I have scheduled for the day. After that I head over to Zendesk and take a look at any of the new tickets that came in the previous night. After I get caught up on those I poke around slack to see if there was any information I missed from the evening. From that point on my day consists of answering tickets via chat and email, completing documentation projects, and attending meetings.
What is your favorite part about working at Huntress?
My favorite part of working at Huntress is being able to work remote. I love that my commute is from my bed to the kitchen and then to my office. Also, I love the flexibility of getting to work from the coffee shop, or from the beach house or even just the back deck. It really just allows me to find a place where I can focus and enjoy work. I also feel that Huntress does a great job of making us all feel connected even though we are fully virtual.
How would you describe the company culture?
The two words that come to mind when I think of Huntress' company culture are inclusive and fun. One of the most comforting things about working here is although not perfect Huntress really does a fantastic job of making sure everyone feels included. It stems from really just the smallest things such as honoring, respecting, and welcoming the use of personal pronouns to having a company wide meeting to hear the stories of a fellow coworker, who's family is still in Ukraine. We've had incredibly brave people feel comfortable enough to share personal thoughts and opinions about Texas's attack on the transgender community and receive nothing but love and support. Even with all the good upper leadership understands that we are still not perfect and is striving towards bettering our diversity and inclusion and that also speaks volumes.
What is the most unique part about working here?
I would say the most unique part of working here are the people. I truly have never been apart of a team who is all so focused on one goal. Whenever you talk to anyone from any department at Huntress it is apparent that they are driven and passionate about the work that they do. Not only that but this is also the most inviting group of people I have ever met. The culture here is something that I have never seen and it continues to grow and I think that is due to everyone's shared passion to continue to create such an environment.
Anything else you want candidates to know about Huntress?
Huntress is truly a special company and I am honored to be apart of it.

What drew you to work for Huntress?
I had just returned to the US after 3 years abroad and was looking for a fully remote opportunity. Coincidentally, Marcos (our current CFO) had just started at Huntress and was looking to replace the company’s outsourced accountants. We had known each other for over 10 years, so it was a natural fit for me to consult for Huntress at that point. Two months later, I was offered a full time position.
What does a day in the life look like for you in your current role?
I spend the majority of my day working on big picture items. Things like process improvements, knowledge transfer, and IPO readiness.
What is your favorite part about working at Huntress?
Huntress's transparency, integrity, culture, and product are all top notch. Best of all, accountants are respected here and not treated as necessary evils, which is definitely a nice change from past experiences that I've had.
How would you describe the company culture?
Inclusive. Transparent. Caring. Non-judgemental.
What is the most unique part about working here?
The company is growing so fast that I work on something new every single day. It might sound cliche but there’s truly never a dull moment.
Anything else you want candidates to know about Huntress?
Huntress is the best company I’ve ever worked for in 20+ years.
