Managed Security Awareness Training
Hi. In this video, I'm gonna show you just how quick and easy it is for MSPs to get started in the hunter security awareness training. First thing you'll see in this portal, you'll see the option to create an account as well as nav up top and these helpful hints at the bottom of how to make the most of the product. Let's get started there. I'm gonna start with applying my MSP branding. So instead of the curricula Purple and the curricula logo, I'm going to pick this blue color And I'm going to upload my own logo. And also when learners get this notification that they're enrolled and they have a new training to take, I want it to come from my MSP's learning team, and let's say learning at some MSP dot com is my email address, and I can just hit save here. Great. Now whenever I create customers, they're going to inherit that I always have the option to override. I can also click invite to add additional admins from my MSP team. And I can say, yep, I do want huntress to just manage the learning for me. I don't wanna think about it. Just let the huntress security operations researchers, do all the thinking for you and assign you episodes every month. So now we're ready to create our first customer. I'm gonna hit the create account. And let's just say this is first customer. Great. I can see that I've already got that theme color and logo set up for me from when I did it at the MSP level, as well as this info, If I wanted to, I could also invite admins that are specific to this account, and this account only This would be where you'd put in, for example, customer human resources, or in a co managed scenario, the local admin. I can just hit next. You'll see that I've got two assignments that I have set up for auto enroll. That huntress managed learning, which will give them new episodes every month, ongoing, which will start on the first day of next month, as well as this new learner essentials. This is the introduction to cybersecurity and phishing episode. These two episodes will never be assigned in the managed learning and are a great way to have new employees get there what I would call license to email. The new learner essentials sits in draft mode in your assignments folder, and you can always just hit launch to make it go live. As a note, if I have it checked in this step, then it soon as I import the new learners, they will be getting notifications. So up to you if you check box it here or set everything up and then add the new learner essentials. So let's hit next. Great. Our customer's been created, but we don't yet have learners. We can do that with CSV. We can do that manually, but I'm going to take the fast and easy path of syncing learners with a Microsoft graph. So here I am I have my options. I can always do Google, Slack, or Octa instead. But if I do Microsoft here, I have two choices in terms of the level of permissions. We recommend setting this full permissions, which also allows huntress to deposit fishing messages and transactional directly into learner inboxes via API bypassing email filters, Let's click that. And now I'm taken into an o auth workflow. I'm going to pick some already logged in here. A service account that I've got has an admin within that customer, permissions requested, accept, And great. I've got the connection successful. Let's attach a security awareness training group by default. The staff group exists. Let's connect that. And here, I can either copy and paste the guid of the group ID This would be if you wanted to limit the sync and deposits just to specific groups within that tenant. I can exclude unlicensed and non human learners so that we don't accidentally use up licenses for photocopiers, and try to assign training to teams phones. Sure. Let's go ahead and pull in the department. And let's create those departments as needed. So now we can preview and sync. And we've got description of what would happen as well as details in the log. Let's apply that manual sync. And once this is done, you can see the details of what happened. And if you would prefer to keep a file copy of which learners were created and who was skipped. You always have the option to download that as a text file or CSV. At this point, I'm done. I can go into the learners and see that I've got all of my learners created. And know that if new employees join or old ones leave, they will get synced, and the new employees will just show up here. And there'll be a signed learning and the ones that leave will be marked as inactive. And, you won't have to pay for them, and they won't show up as having out standing task to complete. I can go under assignments and see that I've got this managed new learner essentials from the MSP, And we've got two episodes there. All the new learners will get auto enrolled in a second. And I can continue on with looking at things like reports viewing a library, etcetera. This point, I'm just gonna close-up this window and hit refresh my MSP portal and see my first customer is active and live with the seventeen learners. I can continue to create additional accounts that same way. Or I can go in and do things like manage the fishing simulations that are done either mode tenanted or single tenanted go into assignments, see that I've got my one account with seventeen learners, taking the new learner essentials, And when I look at the managed learning plan, I can see they're already signed up, and I can always see what the next episode will be here. And at this point, I can close out, let the plan do its thing, and just look at the report at the end of the month or have them go out to the customers automatically.
