With a diverse background and an insatiable curiosity for problem-solving, Izzy Spering has found a perfect fit in the cybersecurity world. 

Currently a generalist at Huntress, Izzy is honing in on malware analysis and security management, diving deep into the intricacies of cyber threats and their mitigation.

Izzy's journey into cybersecurity was driven by a lifelong love of puzzles and problem-solving—but only after exploring fields like CAD design, inventory management, welding, and truck driving. "Cybersecurity was simply the logical career choice for me. It provides an outlet for me to solve problems on a daily basis."

Prior to joining Huntress, Izzy worked as an incident response engineer for MilesIT, gaining valuable experience in the MSP space. This background provided a solid foundation for Izzy’s current role, where the environment at Huntress encourages constant learning and growth. "Huntress is full to the brim with incredibly intelligent people. I love nothing more than being surrounded by people I can learn from.”

Outside of work, Izzy is a guitarist in a metalcore band and enjoys using FPV drones to capture footage of drift cars on the weekends.
